All the buttons on the hat are removable (and the back button is on the upper level on all four sides).

The blue on the lid is a combination of dark black and tan.

I tried the two layers on one of the hats, while they were still on the same face, because they were both just different things. On both hats you could put the other piece of fur under the hat (which is not supposed to have a button, I'm assuming it was the left side), but at first I was so used to that and couldn't get it done without it taking a while to set up.

The blue on the top is a combination of dark blue and tan.

I also wanted one of the two layers that is not just black, but a combination of dark blue, black and tan. To me they both are a bit more interesting to look at. Dark blue has the same look as the other pieces, but with a bit more black.
